Overview
The Icom IC-A220 is a panel-mount VHF air band mobile transceiver featuring a high-contrast OLED display with a wide viewing angle and illuminated control switches. It supports both 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz channel spacing, GPS-linked airport frequency memory, auto/manual squelch, dualwatch and priority watch functions, and one-touch access to the 121.5 MHz emergency frequency, along with a voice-activated intercom for pilot-to-copilot communication. Built to MIL-810G environmental standards, it has a compact 33mm panel height, operates on 13.8V or 27.5V aircraft power, and supports remote control and external dimmer integration.
